Sexy And I Know It!

It's Halloween weekend everyone!

In true Halloween spirit, we decided to dress up pretty sexy-like this year.  Most people couldn't even handle how hot we looked.  Here are some pictures of us at our super-fun Halloween show!

Most importantly, at one point a possibly homeless, drunk man told me that I looked beautiful.  He may have made my night.

Happy Halloween everyone!

Big Casino

It was Kathy's birthday Friday, so we all went out for awesome amounts of all you can eat sushi.
As usual Kanda did not disappoint, and Kathy and I discovered raw beef can be delicious and have been getting the meat cravings ever since. We also were so distracted by eating that no one took any pictures...so here is an artistic representation of what it looked like:
After sushi, sometime around 12:30 we decided we really needed to be at the casino.
Kathy is super lucky because next week she gets to blog about our awesome Halloween costumes for our show next Saturday (I won't give any spoilers!)
Have an awesome week!

P.S. Here's us with a giant cheque from the Leucan fundraiser we played a few weeks ago!

Strawberry Swing

Hey Friends!

My blog this week is going to be short and sweet, like this apple dessert I'm going to eat later today!

Apple, vanilla ice cream and caramel on top. Perhaps a little oatmeal crumble on top as well. Here's the recipe in case you want to make some too: http://timeforalittlesomething.com/2011/10/02/apple-ice-creams-with-brandy-caramel/

Fact: when I see an apple, it reminds me of the fact that Chris Martin from Coldplay named his daughter Apple...and now I have a Coldplay song stuck in my head. And it happens to involve fruit as well! Here's some Strawberry Swing:

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Albany!

...apparently Albany has a theme song, google it if you must.

Hello!
I'm getting this blog business back on track, no more slacking from us. This week my mom and I decided to abandon thanksgiving weekend and drive to Albany to shop, and only to shop. It was amazing. I'm actually still in the hotel and it's awesome!

The only downside though, and what makes me miss Montreal is that everything is closed on sundays! Their malls were open until 6, but we drove around forever trying to find an awesome, quaint restaurant but they were all closed! Also every corner claims to have awesome "wood oven" pizza but that's a lie. I want good pizza so bad right now!

Until next time :)

Fashion!

The posts are a little off schedule this week. Vanessa blogged super late (a whole week!) and stole my blog last week, so I'm blogging tonight.

This week's inspiration: (awesome)

Fall is here, and one of the ways to cope with the weather getting scary is to focus on pretty coats and accessories that come with the cold.

I couldn't resist but pick up this super cute wool coat at H&M. Thankfully it hasn't gotten that cold yet, but I'm ready!

I also found these for super cheap at Winners a few weeks ago- But mine are charcoal gray.
Tahari pumps

Tahari pumps (see more peep toe pumps)

Last for now:
New episode of New Girl this week meant I cut my own bangs (in the dark :S ...)
AND I want that dress!

Have an awesome Thanksgiving weekend!!

Learning is fun!

Hey Everyone!

First of all, thanks so much to those who supported the Leucan Fundraiser last night at Clydes! The venue was packed and we all had a great time supporting a fantastic cause :)

So, it's a rainy Sunday evening, which means in a few minutes, I will make myself some warm hot chocolate with marshmallows and lazy out for the rest of the night. Or I'll go to sleep (I ate too much today...). BUT FIRST, I will tell you a few things I learned this week:

1. Homemade General Tao chicken beats restaurant General Tao: This is the reason I'm currently feeling sleepy. I just came back from Martin's house, where his grandma and mom made some delicious General Tao chicken. There was a deep-fryer involved. I almost took it home. Here's the recipe they used: http://www.ricardocuisine.com/recipes/88-general-tao-s-chicken

2. I don't think I'll ever get sick of The National's "Terrible Love": I've been a fan of The National for a while now and recently re-discovered this song. I've been listening to it on loop for about a week and a half and love it each time! P.s. they'll be playing a show at the Bell Centre on December 9! I would highly recommend seeing them live :) I can't wait!

3. Food Network's Paula Deen has no limits, and I want to be more like her:

Have a great Sunday!
